About Samuel

Samuel Thomas is an iGaming writer. On this site he is responsible for the wording of every page, from the welcome package and cashier pages to the game guides, the licence record and the responsible gambling page. When a page here explains how wagering works, which payment methods accept what amounts, or what a game studio says about a pokie, Samuel wrote that explanation and keeps it up to date.

His focus is accuracy over enthusiasm. Casino copy tends to drift towards big promises; the pages Samuel maintains aim the other way, setting out the numbers that decide whether an offer suits you and saying clearly where something is not published.

That approach shows up in small details. Amounts are given in Australian dollars exactly as they appear in our tables, worked examples use the real welcome figures rather than invented ones, and a game's return-to-player percentage is always described as a long-run average rather than something a single session will deliver.

Method

How Samuel works

Every page starts with a source, not a sentence.

  1. Start from the published terms

Offer figures, wagering, maximum bets and caps come from VegasNow's bonus terms (26 February 2024), the general terms (version 2.3, 20 January 2024) and the Australian offer pages.

  2. Copy cashier figures exactly

Deposit and withdrawal ranges are taken from the AUD cashier tables, method by method, and shown in the same units.

  3. Use the studio's own specifications

RTP, volatility and maximum win figures for a game come only from the studio that made it, such as Pragmatic Play, Novomatic, BGaming or Evolution. If a studio does not publish a figure, the page does not give one.

  4. Say what is not published

Where a detail, such as a payout time or a promotion's full conditions, is not public, the page says so once and points you to the terms shown on the offer or in your account.

  5. Recheck and correct

When terms or tables change, the affected pages are updated. Corrections sent to support@vegasnow.com are checked against the source and fixed.

Standards

What Samuel will not write

  • Payout times presented as promises. Cashier labels are reported as labels, and the real sequence of verification and provider handling is explained instead.
  • Total game counts, prize values or percentages that our sources do not publish.
  • RTP or volatility for a game when the studio has not published one.
  • Suggestions that gambling is a way to make money, or that losses can be won back.
  • Anything aimed at people under 18.

Getting in touch

If you think a page Samuel maintains is wrong, out of date or unclear, email support@vegasnow.com and mention the page address and the line in question. Corrections are checked against the source document and, where the page is wrong, it is changed. The full process is described in our editorial policy.

Remember that the terms shown on your own account and on each offer always govern your play. If a page and your account ever disagree, the account is right, and we want to know so the page can be fixed.
