How our pages are sourced and kept current

Every figure on the official VegasNow Australia site should trace back to a document you can read yourself. This page explains which sources we use, how we handle what is not published, how pages are updated and how to ask for a correction.

Why we have a policy at all

Casino pages are full of numbers that decide whether an offer is worth taking: match percentages, wagering multiples, maximum bets, deposit minimums, withdrawal ranges. A single wrong figure can cost a player money or lead to a frustrating conversation with customer care. This policy exists so that the numbers on our pages match the numbers that actually apply to your VegasNow account.

It also sets a limit on what we write. If something is not in our sources, it does not go on the page, however much it might help a sentence read better.

Sources

The sources we use

In order of authority.

SourceWhat it is used for
General terms (version 2.3, 20 January 2024)Account rules, payment ownership, deposit turnover before withdrawal, account caps
Bonus terms (26 February 2024)Wagering, time limits, maximum bet, game contributions, caps, declining bonuses
Australian offer pagesWelcome stages, codes, spins and offer-specific conditions
Australian cashier tablesDeposit and withdrawal methods and their AUD or crypto ranges
Loyalty programme and VIP lounge pagesEarn rates, level names, Loyalty Store examples, VIP benefits
Promotions pageThe weekly promotions and any publicly stated headline terms
Game studio pagesRTP, volatility, maximum win and mechanics for specific titles
Curaçao Gaming Authority certificateLicence OGL/2024/164/0246 and the licence holder, Just Entertainment B.V.

Game specifications come only from the studio that made the game, for example Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus page or Evolution's rules pages. The licence record is checked on the regulator's certificate site.

Standards

Rules we write by

  • Figures are copied, not rounded. If a table says A$30 to A$4,000, the page says the same, in the same currency.
  • Not published means not stated. Where a detail is not public, such as a payout time or the full conditions of a promotion, we say once that it is shown on the offer or in your account, and move on.
  • Labels stay labels. When the cashier marks a method as free or instant, we report it as a label and explain that verification and provider handling come first.
  • RTP is explained, not sold. A published RTP is a long-run average, and our pages say so whenever one is quoted.
  • Worked examples use real numbers. For example: A$100 deposit, A$150 bonus at 150%, 40× wagering equals A$6,000 of qualifying play within seven days.
  • No pressure tactics. We do not present gambling as income, suggest chasing losses, or invent urgency.
  • Adults only. Our pages are written for people aged 18 and over.
Upkeep

How pages are updated

  1. Source changes are tracked

When a terms document, offer table or cashier table changes, every page that relies on it is identified.

  2. Pages are rewritten from the new source

The affected figures and explanations are updated together, so a page never mixes old and new terms.

  3. Dates are refreshed

Each page shows when it was published and last updated, so you can see how recent the wording is.

  4. Your account always prevails

If a page has not yet caught up with a change, the terms shown on your account and on each offer apply.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email support@vegasnow.com. Tell us the page address, the sentence or figure you believe is wrong, and where you saw the correct information, such as an offer in your account or a cashier screen. We check the claim against the source document. If the page is wrong, we correct it; if the page is right, we will explain which source it follows.

Corrections are made to the page itself rather than added as a footnote, so the page you read is always the corrected version.

Who writes our pages

Pages on this site are written and maintained by Samuel Thomas, an iGaming writer who works from the sources listed above. This is the official VegasNow Australia site, so pages speak in our own voice, as VegasNow, and describe our own offer, games and rules. More about the company is on our about page.

Responsible gambling information follows the same rules. We point to Gambling Help Online, free and confidential on 1800 858 858, and to the deposit limits, cooling-off and self-exclusion available on your account, as set out on our responsible gambling page.
